Jewellery Maker - Amanda Woakes

Amanda has an amazing eye for creating unique pieces of sterling silver jewellery. She studied at the Bournville School of Art and went on to complete a BA(Hons) in Industrial Holloware specialising in ceramics and metal. She has worked as a ceramic designer and freelanced as a greeting card and wrapping paper designer for clients such as Sainsburys, Gallery Five and W.H.Smiths.

However a family of four children diverted Amanda into a new field of talent which allowed her to work from home whilst looking after her growing family. Her passion for colour, texture and pattern transfers into creative designs that are fresh, fun, sophisticated and above all unique. Semi precious stones, pearls, charms and antique buttons are chosen randomly and added to her Silver pieces to give a twist that enhances their originality.

Amanda is always looking for new inspiration and is currently working on a new collection.
