Carpenter - Gareth Denman

Gareth Denman has a passion for carpentry. He was trained the old fashioned way learning his craft as an apprentice. His skill and talent has been honed to create bespoke items for interior designers including Mark Gillette, on a commission basis. Gareth's eye for detail can be noted in every detail of his beautiful home, formerly a barn. His ability to create individual periodic detail is evident in the home interiors he and his wife Janine have created at Wynne Cottage which has become his work shop base. As a result of his other exciting interest, Gareth has made these lovely dog beds that will fit into any room as an acceptable piece of furniture. The beds can be painted in any Farrow and Ball colours, which are non-toxic, to suit the surrounding décor of any home. Your dog can be comfortable at the heart of the family.

Gareth's second passion are his Border Collies. He breeds, rears, trains and partakes in sheep dog trials in the beautiful North Wales countryside and Wynne Cottage is often a refuge for retiring or unwanted sheepdogs. Janine is in charge of this side of the business and all of their dogs are happy. They both take great pride in their family of dogs. It is for this reason Gareth came up with his bespoke dog beds. Janine wanted a practical and durable dog bed that would look great in her kitchen, blend into the surroundings but offer the dogs a comfortable place to rest at a raised level to avoid draughts. She chose a neutral colour to match her decor. The detachable washable fleece dog bed lining can be tumble dried to maintain its softness. The size of the dog fleece matches the box base and is a practical and easy size to wash. The bed box can be painted when necessary but as it has four coats of paint it takes a lot of wear and tear just like those painted kitchen units!

Gareth is happy to take commissions if a different dog bed size is required.
