Upcycled Paper Designer - Sarah Wilson

Sarah Wilson is a self-taught artisan who up-cycles unwanted paper items such as newspapers, sheet music, encyclopaedias and books. In order to give a new lease of life to as many vintage items as possible Sarah doesn’t just source from her own household recycling but also local charity shops and auctions.

Using a unique heat bonding and embellishing process she creates a sumptuous, rich material with a depth that is visually captivating. Whilst each piece of material is unique due to the nature of the process it is possible to accommodate colour themes or word and message themes for larger commissions or bespoke pieces to ensure a totally co-ordinated result for a specific event (such as a wedding or party) an interior design or room scheme or a special message (Mother’s Day, Birthday, Anniversary etc.)

Bespoke pieces are available by commission for specific events, such as weddings or parties, and they can be themed by colour and key words to produce a unique and yet completely co-ordinated result. This applies to interior design, room scheme or a particular message, for example an occasion like a special anniversary or birthday.
