Wood Worker - Grahame Geary

Geary Wood Designs is a husband and wife partnership based in Caerwys. Sarah provides the ideas and finishing touches whilst Grahame’s technical knowledge and hard work create the products.

Their product line often involves integrating slate and wood together which has been sourced locally to create unusual pieces that have a rustic appeal. Hearts are a real favourite.

Their current range is independently crafted in Grahame’s garden work shop and incorporate reclaimed roofing slates and oak – both by products from Grahame’s roofing and joinery work. Pieces of wood are recycled to create lovely products that are durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.

Grahame’s larger and more unusual pieces are carved from locally felled wood as part of estate management projects and he is at his most happy experimenting with carving techniques. Grahame is always happy to take commissions.

Sarah and Grahame are always coming up with new designs and have lots of ideas for future products so watch this space!
