  • A tramway that is over 100 years old can still be caught in these modern times to take a trip up the Great Orme which is an impressive natural structure of limestone that was christened 'sea monster' by the Vikings. Since then it has become a much explored and loved place. You don't have to take the tramway up this 'mini mountain', you can walk, drive or for the more adventurous take the cable car which gives you a great opportunity to take in the views across the sea and the beautiful North Welsh scenery.
  • There are also the bronze age copper mines were discovered in the 1980's and were a groundbreaking discovery that offered insight into how our ancestors lived and worked 2000 years ago. You can take a tour around some of these mines and learn some of this amazing and interesting history for yourself. These mines are still being excavated so who knows what secrets they still hold that we are yet to discover.
  • Llandudno was one of the places that inspired Lewis Carroll when he was writing his world famous book, Alice In Wonderland. You can see these sights for yourself with a tour around the town and learn about the book and also the real 'Alice' who used to holiday regularly in Llandudno with her family.
